As reported earlier, Google's second and latest Nexus Android phone finally made is way to India. Officially known as Samsung Nexus S, the pure Google Android phone will be available in India for Rs. 30,400 or for Rs. 27,999 against a preorder on Flipkart.
The Samsung Nexus S was originally launched for the US and UK under the model no i9020 which bears a Super AMOLED display. However, the Indian version of the phone will sport a Super LCD display and is listed as Samsung Nexus S i9023.
Samsung Nexus S features a 4" contour display with capacitive multi-touch support, a 5 megapixel HD-capable auto-focus camera for shooting high quality pictures and recording vibrant videos and also a front-facing VGA camera for entertaining video calling.
It comes preloaded with 16GB of onboard storage with support for expandable storage of up to 32GB via a microSD card to allow for more storage of your favorite media files or office documents.
Laced with Google Android 2.3 OS, the Samsung Nexus S Android Phone comes integrated with Google services and a plethora of Google apps including Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube and Google Voice Search among others.
To customize your phone with the apps you need and the games you play, Google has integrated Android Market support in the OS which allows you to download from thousands of paid and free Android apps for your phone to further spruce it up.
Other interesting features include built-in NFC support, onboard GPS, Bluetooth v3.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity, faster 1GHz processor with a dedicated graphics processor, open GSM-SIM card support and much more.
