A new Sony Ericsson device has leaked earlier today. It's part of the Xperia line, and as such presumably runs Android. It's called the Sony Ericsson Xperia Acro, and it looks a whole lot like the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc that was unveiled at CES in January.
The Acro may just be a rebranded Arc headed to Japan, and even if not, it's clearly a close relative of the Arc – the design is very similar, if not identical. According to Xperia Blog, the Acro will have a 1 GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 4.2-inch touchscreen, and an 8.1-megapixel Exmor R camera. If those specs sound familiar, it's because they're identical to the Arc's.
What you see above is a screenshot taken from Sony Ericsson's PC Companion software tool in Japan, and it's how we've come to find out about the Xperia Acro's existence. There are two Acros listed as you can see, one is meant for NTT DoCoMo and is a HSPA device, and the other is CDMA-based and presumably headed to KDDI.
