Enjoy Blancpain Villeret Annual Calendar GMT Watch

At Baselworld 2011, the house of Blancpain has proudly unveiled a new Villeret Annual Calendar GMT watch.

The new Blancpain watch comes packaged in a 40mm x 10.9mm case, rendered in white or red gold. It boasts top and bottom sapphire crystals.

The case is fitted with the brands under-lug correctors system. The corrector at 1 oclock adjusts the day, while the one at 5 oclock changes the months indication. The GMT, date and time functions are operated by a winding crown at 3 clock.

The display of the new Blancpain Villeret Annual Calendar GMT watch is equipped with a counter at 8 oclock. Acting as a reference time, it reveals a small 24-hour hand. The GMT function, meanwhile, is provided by a central hour hand. The day, date and month are shown in apertures at 2, 3 and 4 oclock respectively.

Breathing life into these functions is a new in-house automatic Calibre 6054F movement. It doesnt require any special date adjustment, except for once per year that is at the transition from February to March.

The new Blancpain watch is accompanied by an alzavel-lined alligator leather strap. It is fitted with a triple-blade folding clasp.
