Olympus XZ-1 Wins Red Dot Design Award

The Olympus XZ-1 high-end digital compact camera has recently received a Red Dot Award. The design of the Olympus XZ-1 is both functional and classy at the same time. The camera has a multi-purpose click-stop dial around the lens housing and a rear control wheel encircling the four-way pad. The Olympus XZ-1 also has a 10-megapixel 1x1.63-inch CCD sensor, a fast f/1.8-2.5, 4x wide-angle i.ZUIKO DIGITAL lens, a 3-inch OLED screen and 720p HD movie recording capabilities. For your info, the Red Dot Design Award was founded in 1955. It is one of the most prestigious international design competitions in the world.
