Newegg has begun selling the new ASUS Eee PC 1215B netbook via its online store. This mini laptop is currently being offered for $449.99. In case you didn't remember, the Eee PC 1215B offers a 12.1-inch 1366 x 768 LED-backlit display, a 1.60GHz AMD E-350 dual-core processor, an AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics card, a 2GB DDR3 RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a 0.3-megapixel webcam, a card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, an HDMI port, a 6-cell battery and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit OS.

Samsung has once again expanded its line of netbooks by launching the NS310 for the European market. This mini laptop is packed with a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 display, a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor, an Intel GMA 3150 graphics card, a 1GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a 0.3-megapixel webcam, an SD/MMC card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3-cell battery and pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter 32-bit OS. The Samsung NS310 is now available for purchase in Europe via fnac.com for 399 Euro (about $570).

Netbook Navigator opens up pre-orders for Nav7 tablet

The good people over at Netbook Navigator have begun to take pre-orders for the Nav7 tablet, and in line with common tablet design that isn't an iPad these days, this puppy will sport a 7″ display at 1024 x 600 resolution. Of course, this will boast multitouch capability to keep up with the times, not to mention sporting a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, 1GB RAM, a 16GB solid state drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a couple of USB ports and an Ethernet jack. Windows 7 will be the operating system of choice (if you are willing to fork out $749), and you can pick up the Nav7 from $649 a pop as it will ship from late May onwards. Not the cheapest tablet in the market, but it does seem to be more than decent on paper at least.
