Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Unlocked Phone with 3G, 3.2 MP Camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and MicroSD Slot--U.S. Version with Warranty (Silver) Review

Combining a 3-inch wide VGA display and a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 enables you to work efficiently while on the move (thanks to its Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system) as well as enjoy your favorite entertainment--from music to video. It features a unique customizable paneled desktop that lets you quickly access the applications and functions you use the most. Other features include a 3.2-megapixel camera/camcorder, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity for handsfree devices and stereo music streaming, Wi-Fi networking (802.11b/g), assisted GPS, a large 400 MB internal memory that can be expanded via MicroSD memory cards, FM radio in addition to Windows Media digital audio/video player, and up to 10 hours of talk time (on GSM networks).

Unlocked Phone
This unlocked cell phone can be used with a GSM network service provider and it provides quad-band connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). It does not come with a SIM card, and it requires that you provide a SIM card for usage with your selected service provider. This phone comes with a one-year warranty from a third party provider.
It also offers U.S./international tri-band 3G HSDPA network compatibility (850/1900/2100 MHz). When paired with a compatible 3G network, you'll enjoy a high-speed connection offering a variety of feature-rich wireless services--from data connectivity to your office to multimedia streaming, and take advantage of simultaneous voice and data services. Where 3G networks are not available, you'll continue to receive data service via the EDGE data network (depending on network compatibility).

Phone Features
The XPERIA X1's 3-inch touchscreen has a 480 x 800-pixel resolution and a 65K color depth, and it features a full physical QWERTY keyboard that slides out the left side of the phone. In addition to touch controls, the phone also includes a four-way navigator and control buttons at the bottom of the face. The XPERIA X1's user interface is based on a nine-panel grid desktop, and touching a panel opens up the function or application. Remove, replace and add new panels whenever you want. The phone comes with a number of panels pre-loaded, and many more are available for download.

Sony Ericsson C510a Cyber-Shot Unlocked Phone with 3.2 MP Camera, 3G, GSM, Media Player, and Bluetooth--U.S. Version with Warranty (Black) Review

Product Description
Entry-level 3G Cybershot Phone (Unlocked) 12.5mm thick 3G Cybershot phone with 3.2MP imager, SmileShutter, Face Detection, photo and video blogging. 2.2? QVGA 262K color TFT display, Media Player, FM radio, Bluetooth A2DP, M2 slot (no M2 stick included in box). GSM 850/900/1800/1900; UMTS HSPA 850/1900/2100

In addition to being just a little bit differnet, they sport a wonderfully intutive interface and intertesting desings. I've been using this phone for a couple of days and here are my thoughts so far:

Pros:
-Beautiful screen,
-Nicely weighted, feels solid
-Understated design, very attractive
-Keys are good for texting, maybe a little small for larger hands
-Interface is intuitive and snappy
-Phone has a decent set of features for the price
-Charges quickly
-Good battery life/talk time
-Decent reception
-Phone feels well built
-Unlocked version allows more customization such as shortcuts/custom tones
-Camera is decent and has lots of settings

Cons:
-No way to use the camera flash as a flash light (like on the old W810i)
-Call quality could be a little better but is by no means poor
-Volume rocker is small and hard to change while talking
-I wish Sony Ericsson would switch over to micro USB for charging
-No 3.5mm headphone jack

This is by far the best Sony Ericsson phone I've owned, or any phone for that matter. If you are looking for a loaded smartphone obviously look elsewhere, but this is a phone that does all the basics really well and sports a few nice features as well.
