WeWood Watches

WeWood is really a company based out of Los angeles with an idea formerly stemming from Italy–to create a natural, completely natural watch inspired by rooted but reaching power of a tree. The resulting item, judging from their record, is just as much art as functional see. They currently offer two basic varieties of watch face– standard analogue as well as chronograph, each weighing within at only about ONE. 5 ounces. No stains or other toxins are utilized to alter the pure color and grain from the wood, so they are generally hypoallergenic– but only splash resistant, not water proof. The wood used originates from flooring scraps and include the colors/trees: beige (Maple), african american (Ebony), brown (Red Side Celtis), and army efficient (Guaiaco). WeWood is also joined with American Forests as well as for every watch sold, a tree is planted as part of the Global ReLeaf attempt. The watches are available from the WeWood website with prices to include $119 for the analogue varieties to $139 with the chronograph.
